TERMS OF SERVICE

We take great pride in our work and enthusiastically undertake a wide range of cleaning tasks to assist our valued customers. However, in order to uphold a superior level of quality, there are certain restrictions on the scope of our services:

  1. We maintain the authority to terminate any service, without exception. Acts of racism, sexism, or disrespect directed towards our staff will lead to an immediate and permanent discontinuation of our services.

  2. The well-being of our staff is of utmost importance. Our staff members are not permitted to:

    • Ascend to heights beyond those reachable with a three-step ladder;

    • Relocate or lift weighty furniture (that necessitates the aid of an additional person for moving);

    • Handle biohazardous materials (including animal or human waste);

    • Clean spaces afflicted with insect infestations;

    • Tackle areas affected by mold;

    • Engage in any other activities that could potentially compromise their health or safety.

  3. We do not accept responsibility for the health and safety of your pets. Despite our diligent and cautious approach to your pets, you are ultimately in the optimal position to guarantee their security and welfare.

  4. Our cleaning personnel exercise reasonable caution during the cleaning process. We do possess insurance to cover damages or breakages caused by our staff. However, we are not accountable for damages stemming from "normal wear and tear," incorrect item installation, or harm to artworks, collectibles, or family heirlooms valued at over $200, if not declared during the appointment scheduling. Should any damage or perceived damage be identified after our staff's departure, the customer is required to promptly inform Superb Maids within 24 hours of the incident occurring during the scheduled cleaning. We will make every effort to address the issue and formulate a practical resolution. Examples of these items encompass, but are not restricted to, the subsequent instances:

    • Carpet and Rug Snags - Snags in carpets and rugs arise from loops becoming exposed due to everyday usage, furniture relocation, and similar factors, leading them to get caught by the roller brush of a vacuum. Our vacuum models, Panasonic and Shark, adhere to industry-set standards and cannot be customized. To minimize the occurrence of snags or fraying, we will make a concerted effort to avoid regions of the carpeting or rugs that are in poor condition.

    • Broken Blinds - It is important for customers to understand that cleaning blinds carries inherent risks. Blinds can grow fragile due to regular sun exposure and aging, and the strings or cords can gradually weaken, potentially leading to breakages.

    • Improperly Installed Wall Decor - If pictures, decorations, or mirrors are affixed securely and appropriately to the wall, they should remain in place during dusting or wiping.

    • Valuable Artwork, Collectibles, or Family Heirlooms Exceeding $200 - Items of this nature are costly and/or irreplaceable. Consequently, we decline the responsibility of cleaning such items due to the associated risk. The onus lies with the customer to provide written notification of any item(s) falling under this classification.

    • Woodwork, Vintage/Antique Wood Furniture, Unfinished Items & Furniture with Special Requirements - Kindly inform us during your booking if your woodwork, wooden furniture, or vintage wooden furniture lacks a seal or is crafted from materials other than authentic wood. We encourage you to discuss any specific care necessities your furniture may require, especially if it warrants special attention. If you wish to provide your own cleaning products for particular pieces such as furniture, leather upholstery, pianos, etc., please notify us via email or mail about the preferred products you intend to supply.

  5. Availability of Electricity and Water - To facilitate our services, access to electricity and water is imperative. Should your utilities be inactive, we would be pleased to reschedule our service for a time when these utilities have been restored.

  6. Challenging Living Conditions - In situations where a residence exhibits significant disarray, such as broken glass, extensive clutter, or a "hoarder's living space," we possess the capability to bring it to a livable and habitable state. Nonetheless, the ultimate outcome may not parallel the level of cleanliness achieved in a standard home. To address this, we will engage in thorough discussions prior to commencing the job and upon our arrival at your location. In order to optimize our approach to the cleaning, we will document the condition of the space before and after our work. These photographs may be shared and assessed within our company for strategic purposes, but will not include any identifying information. For potential usage on our social media, we may also feature images showcasing our work, yet these photos will not contain identifiable details, such as sinks, stoves, vacant areas, and so forth.

  7. Appointment Management and Cancellation Policy - Our appointment scheduling is meticulously organized, and any eleventh-hour cancellations or rescheduling instances can cause substantial disruptions, leading to financial setbacks for both our company and our staff. To account for this, we have instituted a 48-hour advance notice policy for cancellations or rescheduling, accompanied by a $100 fee. Nevertheless, there are situations where we may be able to forgo this fee. For instance, if we can promptly secure an alternative appointment to fill the slot, or if there exists a legitimate and substantial reason for the cancellation, we may consider waiving the fee.

  8. Engaging Superb Maids comes with the understanding that you commit not to actively seek the employment of any staff member introduced to you by Superb Maids for any domestic services. Our company invests substantial time and resources in the process of sourcing, interviewing, verifying references and backgrounds, and training our maids. Upon joining our team, these individuals sign agreements that prohibit them from providing home-related services to any of our former or current clients. Should you have an interest in directly hiring a staff member, we kindly request that you discuss this matter with the owner. It's important to note that if evidence emerges of your solicitation of our staff, our established referral and training fee of $5,000 per employed staff member will be applied. This fee reflects our recognition of the immense value our employees bring to our organization and compensates for the investment we have made in their training and development.

  9. By using our cleaning services, you hereby agree to safeguard, indemnify, and exempt Superb Maids and its affiliated entities, agents, licensors, managers, and other related companies, along with their employees, owners, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (which may include legal fees) stemming from the following:

    (i) Your utilization of any cleaning services provided by Superb Maids' representatives that have been received by you; (ii) Any alleged or factual destruction or harm to property (including your residence) resulting from the execution of Superb Maids' cleaning services.

  10. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Superb Maids does not provide warranties, endorsements, or guarantees, or assumes responsibility for the cleaning services, including those carried out by Superb Maids' representatives, or any potential losses or damages that might result from them. The service, encompassing our cleaning offerings, is presented to you in an "as is" and "as available" manner. Utilization of the service is undertaken entirely at your own risk. As allowed by applicable law, the service is delivered without any kind of warranties, whether expressed or implied. These include but are not restricted to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, workmanlike quality, or non-infringement.

    In addition, Superb Maids, its subsidiaries, and licensors do not guarantee that the service is accurate, reliable, or correct; that the service will meet your particular needs; or that the service will be accessible at specific times or locations, uninterrupted, or secure.
